Ashleigh’s career initially started in the property industry in 2012 when she joined as an apprentice working in a conveyancing office. She then worked her way up to becoming a legal assistant to the Executive Partner of Residential Property at a well renowned 300-strong law firm turning over £26million, so has an extensive background building solid relationships with clients and also assisted with the internal recruitment process. Ashleigh’s previous experience was instrumental in developing the client base and laying the foundations of the business at Edmund & Evans.
Ashleigh loves building long term relationships with her clients and helping their businesses grow and succeed through the acquisition of great talent.
Ashleigh has made placements with some of the biggest and well respected clients in the Rec2Rec industry in several different sectors such as space, finance, construction and IT.
Edmund had a very successful career in estate agency rapidly working his way up from trainee sales negotiator to branch valuer. Edmund was then headhunted by one of the leading property recruitment agencies and left estate agency to instead recruit for estate agents, a sector he knew like the back of his hand. Within a year Edmund was promoted from recruitment consultant to a management position running the Essex region after being one of the top performers for the company. In late 2020, Edmund felt it was the perfect time to do things his way and start his own Recruitment Agency alongside Ashleigh combining their expertise -Edmund & Evans was then created.
Edmund has always been a people’s person, and loves nothing more than the thrill of a candidates enthusiastic “Yes!” to an offer and equally pleased Director who just landed a top performer.
